Moving from a subcontractor to a contractor is a great step towards building your dream company. Mike coaches Jamaine Wells, owner of Wells Janitorial Services on making that shift. Jamaine is a father of two young men 2 and 6 as well as guardian of his cousin after his aunty passed. He started his company because he enjoyed working in this industry and has a  passion for business ownership.The excitement of creating something from the ground up is a priceless opportunity and rewarding sensation for Jamaine.

What is the best way to get referrals? Victoria Korotkevits started VCare Organic Cleaning in 2007. It was up and down journey, with her being busy,  happy and sometimes being frustrated. She even thought about closing up shop. Currently, she has 11 employees and has finally gotten to the stage where she doesn’t clean herself. V Care has two training managers, so she concentrate more on book keeping, customer service and marketing. She’s hoping next year will bring enough income, so she can hire her first office help as well.
